How to read the flavour quadrant

1 June 2026

The quadrant has two axes.

Left to right runs Sweet → Bright Acidity. Bottom to top runs Nutty / Roasted → Floral / Fruity.

Every drink we serve or sell is a dot on this grid. A dot high and to the right will be lifted, aromatic, a little sparkling on the tongue. A dot low and to the left will be round, warm, comfortable.

There is no better or worse corner. There is only where you want to be today.

If you are new to this: start near the middle, then move one direction at a time. The distance between two dots is something you can actually taste.
